This Policy applies to information processed via the Prota platform, websites, and related communications. Additional privacy and data‑processing terms may apply in your Master Service Agreement or Data Processing Addendum (DPA).

  • Identification and contact details for corporate users and authorized representatives.
  • KYC/KYB documentation, beneficial ownership information, and other compliance artifacts.
  • Technical and usage data (e.g. IP address, device/browser metadata, activity logs).
  • Transaction and settlement metadata necessary to operate the platform and meet regulatory obligations.

3. How We Use Information

  • To provide, maintain, and improve the Prota platform and related services.
  • To conduct onboarding, KYC/KYB, AML, sanctions screening, and other compliance checks.
  • To monitor, detect, and prevent fraud, abuse, or security incidents.
  • To communicate with you about your account, incidents, or product updates (where permitted).
  • To satisfy legal, regulatory, and contractual obligations.

4. Sharing & Transfers

We may share information with carefully selected service providers (e.g. KYC vendors, cloud providers, analytics or security tools) under appropriate data‑processing terms, and with regulators or law‑enforcement authorities where required by law. Cross‑border data transfers may occur, subject to appropriate safeguards.

5. Data Security & Retention

We implement technical and organizational measures designed to protect information, including encryption in transit, access controls, logging, and segregation of environments. Retention periods depend on legal, tax, audit, and regulatory requirements as well as your contractual arrangements with Prota.

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or portability of certain information, as well as rights to object or withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. Such requests will typically be coordinated through your organization’s designated contacts.

7. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy over time. Material changes will be communicated via the platform or other channels. Continued use of Prota after updates become effective indicates your acknowledgement of the updated Policy.
